MICHIGAN CENTRAL STATION WINTER FESTIVAL

The Detroit community long dreamt of seeing the historic Michigan Central Station (MCS) brought back to life after closing its doors in 1988 and falling into ruin. That’s why we created a winter festival around the building — to showcase its past, present, and future.

Detroit doesn’t need a rebrand. That's why, for 313 Day, we worked with Pepsi to push back on the “New Detroit” narrative with a bold reminder: this city’s greatness isn’t new — it’s always been like that.

At Freedom House Detroit, every room holds a story. A mother fleeing persecution. A student forced to leave everything behind. A father dreaming of safety for his children. That's why we started a fundraising campaign to help them continue their vital work.
